MARTIN BRUDNIZKI TO OVERSEE MAJOR REFURBISHMENT
The Doyle Collection has announced a multi-million pound investment programme at The Bloomsbury and The Dupont Circle, with the architecture and design being overseen by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio.
November 11thLondon, Washington DC

The projects will begin in 2017 with the refurbishment of public spaces at Grade II-listed The Bloomsbury, the only hotel in the UK designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, whose notable works stretch from the north-east English island of Lindisfarne to New Delhi, and gave him the reputation as the greatest architect of his age. The building, on Great Russell Street, is lauded as his finest neo-Georgian building was built as the YWCA’s Central Club. The Doyle Collection made the perfect choice for the refurbishment project in charging Martin Brudnizki Studio with the task, given their considered approach which carries the utmost respect for the unique character of each site, as well as their reputation for creating some of the world’s most celebrated interiors (The Ivy, Soho Beach House Miami, Scott’s) which have won them accolades from Wallpaper*, Tatler, Harper’s Bazaar and the European Hotel Design Awards.
